White Lodging Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned line cook for Stella Van Buren, an upscale Italian American steakhouse in Milwaukee.

You will work on the line in an open kitchen, execute BOH operations, and ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation in a high-energy setting. Ideal candidates bring hands-on kitchen experience, proficiency with a range of cooking techniques, and flexibility for a fast-paced schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook or in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work at a fast pace.

What You'll Do

• Work on the line in an open concept kitchen for
• Execute back-of-house (BOH) operations following F&B procedures, health codes, and federal guidelines
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation at all times
• Help maintain food cost and labor cost targets
• Check ingredient freshness; uphold recipe standards and portion-use records
• Positively influence guest feedback through consistent food quality
• Foster a respectful, cooperative team culture

What You'll Bring

• Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment
• Proficiency in sautéing, broiling, frying, roasting, butchery, garde manger, pantry, and breakfast cookery
• Culinary degree or apprenticeship preferred — not required
