Job summary

Four Seasons is seeking a Guest Services associate for our Puerto Rico location to answer calls and process guest orders in a courteous, efficient manner. You will describe menu items with vivid details and ensure orders are captured accurately for delivery or room service.

You will monitor guest inquiries across platforms, assist with special requests, and coordinate with the kitchen and delivery staff to maintain quality and timely service.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to process guest orders with courtesy and accuracy.
• Strong communication and guest-service mindset.

Responsibilities

The property is seamlessly integrated with its natural surroundings, allowing guests and residents to immerse themselves in the white sand beaches, verdant walking trails, and myriad outdoor activities – from golf, tennis, swimming and beyond.

Answer telephone using courteous, efficient telephone etiquette while obtaining all information necessary to process the guest’s order according to Four Seasons Standards, describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods. (30%)

• Monitor our other mobile platforms on which guests can place orders or communicate with us. Reply to guest enquiries, and assist them in a timely and courteous manner. (10%)
• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; coordinate delivery of items to the guestroom by Room Service Servers in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality; properly and accurately close guest checks; record guest charges and gratuities. (20%)
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. (10%)
• Coordinate amenity deliver by ensuring that all requests are received, filed, ordered from kitchen and delivered in a prompt and accurate fashion. (10%)
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. (10%)
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. (10%)

• Stock and order items.
• Assist in setting tray tables for delivery.
