Job summary

Flying Horse Resort and Club in Colorado Springs is seeking a part-time server to deliver food from the kitchen to guests, clear and reset tables, and perform opening/closing duties. You will communicate clearly with guests, handle multiple tasks, and maintain high service standards to ensure a memorable experience.

Responsibilities include tray-carrying, answering questions about menu items, and assisting in side-work as directed by management.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of restaurant experience is preferred.
• Must be detail oriented, accurate and possess good organizational abilities and be capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Must possess customer service skills and strong oral communication skills.
• Competency in dealing with members and fellow employees under circumstances requiring tact and diplomacy.
• Must possess the ability to work effectively under time deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to Guests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Clearing and setting tables properly and with an excellent standard.
• Removing used dishes and utensils in the appropriately
• Perform basic side-work as needed or directed by management
• Responsible for all opening/closing and cleaning procedures
• Be comfortable carrying big trays of food or drinks
• Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed
• Answer Guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items
• Ensuring clean facilities at our room service stations, bread stations, and floors
