Job summary

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company (HE&R) is seeking a Full-Time team member for Hershey Lodge. You will assist servers, learn espresso machine operations, and craft cocktails and mocktails while keeping dining areas stocked and guest-focused.

Annual compensation includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401K, paid time off, and other benefits starting soon after employment. This is a union role with shifts starting early morning.

Job Duties

• Assisting servers*
• Learning and executing all operations of the espresso machine and crafting Stacks specific cocktails and mocktails
• Restocking all dining and service areas*
• Clearing and resetting tables*
• Completing daily and weekly cleaning sheets*
• Pouring coffee and water when required; ensuring that condiments are amply supplied on the guest table prior to the guests taking their seats*
• Forwarding any guest concerns to the applicable wait staff person or supervisor*
• Accomplishing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Must demonstrate an ability to work in an organized and efficient manner.
• Must demonstrate an ability to work with limited supervision.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and guests.
• Must present a clean and professional image.
• Bartending and/or barista experience is a plus.

Job Demands

• Must be able to work long hours and overtime - according to seniority which includes weekends and holidays.
• Shifts include 6:30am-3:00pm
• Must be able to work on one's feet for long periods of time.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, push, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must work in a clean, efficient, and orderly manner.
• This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
