Job summary

Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA, invites you to join a warm, welcoming team in a fast-paced dining environment.

As a Full-Time Team Member, you will assist servers, learn espresso machine operations, craft stacks cocktails, restock dining areas, and keep tables clean and ready for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must work in an organized, efficient manner with minimal supervision.
• Bartending and/or barista experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers as part of daily service.
• Learn and operate espresso machine and craft cocktails.
• Restock dining and service areas.
• Clear and reset tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and complete daily/weekly cleaning sheets.
• Pour coffee and water, ensure condiments are stocked.
• Address guest concerns to the waiter staff or supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job)

• Assisting servers*


• Learning and executing all operations of the espresso machine and crafting Stacks specific cocktails and mocktails


• Restocking all dining and service areas*


• Clearing and resetting tables*


• Completing daily and weekly cleaning sheets*


• Pouring coffee and water when required; ensuring that condiments are amply supplied on the guest table prior to the guests taking their seats*


• Forwarding any guest concerns to the applicable wait staff person or supervisor*


• Accomplishing other duties as assigned.

• Must demonstrate an ability to work in an organized and efficient manner.


• Must demonstrate an ability to work with limited supervision.


• Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and guests..


• Must present a clean and professional image.


• Bartending and/or barista experience is a plus.

Job Demands

• Must be able to work long hours and overtime - according to seniority which includes weekends and holidays.


• Shifts include 6:30am-3:00pm


• Must be able to work on one's feet for long periods of time.


• Must be able to stoop, bend, push, and lift up to 40 pounds.


• Must work in a clean, efficient, and orderly manner.


• This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
