Job summary

Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA is seeking a full-time team member to assist servers, stock dining areas, and serve guests at the espresso bar. The role requires arriving early and working in a fast-paced setting, with emphasis on guest service and quality.

You will work 6:30am-3:00pm, weekends and holidays per union seniority, and enjoy sweet perks and benefits starting from day one of employment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Effective communication with coworkers and guests.
• Must present a clean and professional image.
• Bartending and/or barista experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting servers.
• Learning and operating the espresso machine and crafting Stacks cocktails and mocktails.
• Restocking dining and service areas.
• Clearing and resetting tables.
• Completing daily and weekly cleaning sheets.
• Pouring coffee and water and maintaining condiments at guest tables.
• Escalating guest concerns to the appropriate staff or supervisor.
• Accomplishing other duties as assigned.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Assisting servers*
• Learning and executing all operations of the espresso machine and crafting Stacks specific cocktails and mocktails
• Restocking all dining and service areas*
• Clearing and resetting tables*
• Completing daily and weekly cleaning sheets*
• Pouring coffee and water when required; ensuring that condiments are amply supplied on the guest table prior to the guests taking their seats*
• Forwarding any guest concerns to the applicable wait staff person or supervisor*
• Accomplishing other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must demonstrate an ability to work in an organized and efficient manner.
• Must demonstrate an ability to work with limited supervision.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and guests..
• Must present a clean and professional image.
• Bartending and/or barista experience is a plus.

Job Demands:

• Must be able to work long hours and overtime - according to seniority which includes weekends and holidays.
• Shifts include 6:30am-3:00pm
• Must be able to work on one's feet for long periods of time.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, push, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must work in a clean, efficient, and orderly manner.
• This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
