Job summary

The Hotel Hershey, a luxury resort, is seeking a full-time beverage server. You will take orders, describe cocktails, and deliver drinks to guests with a focus on service excellence at a premier property in Hershey, PA.

Responsibilities include processing payments, serving snacks, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting private events. The role requires 18+ and a successful RAMP test; union shifts and weekend hours are common.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Must have verifiable work experience as a server.
• Must pass accredited alcohol server test (RAMP) within the probation period.

Responsibilities

• Taking beverage orders from patrons, suggesting or describing cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, etc., and transmitting orders to bartender.
• Receiving and placing beverage orders on a service tray, adding fruits, garnishes, decorations, etc. as required before serving to guests.
• Totaling checks and collecting payment for beverages.
• Dispensing bottled beverages, confections, or any other item upon the request of the guest.
• Returning empty glasses and maintaining neat and clean work and customer service areas.
• Serving hors d'oeuvres and snacks at private or catered parties as requested.
• Performing other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or management

Job Demands

• This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which may require evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
