Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts in Atlanta’s Buckhead area seeks an experienced server to assist the Outlet Manager and fellow servers in delivering a welcoming dining experience. You will clear and reset tables, maintain station cleanliness, and help serve beverages and courses with attentiveness and efficiency.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capacity to push carts up to 150 lbs. Regular attendance and a team-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck up to 150 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and adaptability to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Clear dirty table settings and reset for the next service.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods.
• Serve guests with beverages, bread, and butter and replenish as needed.
• Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area for cleaning.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

NoOverviewAssist the Outlet Manager and Restaurant Servers in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, as well as providing guests stellar service.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesQuickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service ware.Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen, and condiments.Serve guests with beverages, bread, and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications and SkillsKnowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 150 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.Effective verbal and written communication skills.
