Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Server to provide exceptional food and beverage service across breakfast buffet, restaurant, bar, and room service, delivering a welcoming atmosphere and high guest satisfaction. The role requires weekend and holiday availability, and both AM and PM shifts are available.

You will maintain standards, upsell items, and work with a professional, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler Permit.
• Experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, enter into the POS, and deliver food and drinks.
• Set up and reset tables and service stations; maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Process guest payments accurately and assist with side work as needed.

Job description

The Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests across multiple outlets, including the breakfast buffet, restaurant dining, bar service, and in-room dining (room service). This role ensures a welcoming atmosphere, timely service, and a high standard of hospitality while maintaining cleanliness, professionalism, and guest satisfaction. You will need an open schedule as this position does require weekends and holidays.

Both AM and PM shifts are available.

Essential Job Functions

Guest Service

• Greet guests promptly and professionally, creating a warm and welcoming experience.
• Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service in all dining areas.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, specials, ingredients, and beverage offerings.
• Make recommendations and upsell food and beverage items when appropriate.

Breakfast Buffet Service

• Set up, maintain, and break down breakfast buffet according to hotel standards.
• Ensure food presentation, cleanliness, and proper replenishment throughout service.
• Monitor buffet quality, temperature, and guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests with beverage service and special requests.

Restaurant & Bar Service

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining service standards.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and bar areas.

Room Service

• Take room service orders via phone or system accurately and professionally.
• Prepare trays/carts according to service standards.
• Deliver orders promptly and verify guest satisfaction upon delivery.
• Retrieve trays promptly from guest hallways and rooms when appropriate.

Operational Responsibilities

• Set up and reset tables and service stations.
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and food handling standards.
• Process guest payments accurately.
• Assist with opening and closing side work duties.
• Support team members and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Curren Food Handlers Permit
• Previous restaurant, hotel, or food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Skills

• Hotel or hospitality experience.
• POS system experience.
• Alcohol service certification (if required by state/local law).
• Strong multitasking and teamwork abilities.

Work Environment
