The Boulevard Senior Living-Wentzville in Wentzville, MO is seeking a friendly Server to greet residents and support meal service in our community dining room. This full-time role requires energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while helping residents sit, stand, and move about during meals.

Compensation ranges from $15 to $22.50 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• English reading/writing/listening at 8th grade level or higher.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Must be physically active with standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, including after a fall.
• Criminal background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster connections.
• Prepare tables and service areas, prep salads, roll silverware.
• Bus tables and maintain cleanliness.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when changes in appetite observed.

Shift Schedule—

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

7:00am to 2:30pm

• Be an “Appetite Anthropologist:” Communicate with supervisors and Wellness

when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
