Vitalia Westlake in Westlake, OH is seeking a Part-Time Server to join our dining team. You will greet residents, assist with meal service, and help maintain a warm, home-like environment.

Responsibilities include taking tables, supporting food prep, and ensuring residents feel welcome. The role requires energy, reliability, and the ability to stand for extended periods; benefits include a 401(k) match and health coverage.

Qualifications

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room.
• Mingle, entertain, and foster connections among residents.
• Assist with table prep, service, and rolling silverware.
• Communicate concerns to supervisors when appetite changes are observed.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, bussing as needed.

Server pay range: $15 - $23 per hour

Shift Schedule—

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday

4:00pm to 7:30pm

• Be an “Appetite Anthropologist”: Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
