Job summary

Arrow Senior Living Management is seeking a part-time Server for Vitalia Montrose in Copley, OH. You will greet residents, help with dining service, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere during meals.

The role requires standing, walking, bending and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. A positive, resident-focused attitude is essential, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen years old.
• English literacy at 8th grade level or higher.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room.
• Prepare and support meal service as needed.
• Buss, clear and tidy dining areas to maintain a pleasant environment.
• Communicate observations about residents’ appetites and needs to supervisors.

Server pay range: $15 - $21 per hour

Shift Schedule—

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

4:00pm to 7:30pm

• To be a Titan of Tidiness: Bussing tables, sweeping floors – we know it’s not glamorous, but this important role plays a crucial part in making the community something we can be proud of.
• Be an “Appetite Anthropologist:” Communicate with supervisors and Wellness

when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
