Job summary

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server in Hilliard, OH. The role involves greeting residents, ensuring a welcoming dining experience, and supporting meal service with prep and cleanup tasks.

The position requires standing and walking most of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a friendly, energetic attitude toward residents. Must be at least 16 and criminally cleared.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• English reading/writing/comprehension at 8th grade level or higher.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and help after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster connections among residents.
• Prep tasks such as setting tables, salads, and rolling silverware.
• Bussing tables and tidying areas to maintain a clean environment.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness about residents' dietary intake and changes.

Server pay range: $15 - $18.75 per hour

Shift Schedule—

Monday and Sunday

11:00am to 7:00pm

• Be an “Appetite Anthropologist”: Communicate with supervisors and Wellness

when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.


• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!


• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!


• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.


• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.


• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.


• You must be criminally cleared.
