Job summary

Magnolia Green Golf Club in Moseley, VA is seeking a part-time Server to join a Troon-affiliated hospitality team. The role focuses on delivering prompt, friendly service and menu knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include taking orders, delivering food and beverages, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, organized dining area. Must have 1–2 years in food service and be of legal drinking age. Benefits and perks are available as described by the club.

Qualifications

• Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
• Provides prompt and efficient customer service.
• Displays knowledge of the F&B menu.
• Takes guests' food and drink orders and relays to kitchen, bar, and other areas.
• Serves beverages and prepared meals to guests in a timely manner.
• Adheres to sanitation, safety, and alcohol policies, including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests.
• Checks back to ensure guest satisfaction and replenishes items as necessary.
• Suggests and serves dessert, coffee, and other items as applicable or necessary.
• Handles all cash and credit payments following standard procedures.
• Keeps dining area and workstations sanitized and organized.
• Responds to customer complaints.
• Performs cleanup and closing procedures as assigned.

Magnolia Green Golf Club, located in Moseley, VA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay Range:

$4.00 to $5.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains a professional appearance at all times
• Provides prompt and efficient customer service
• Displays knowledge of the F&B menu
• Takes guests' food and drink orders and turns them in to the kitchen, bar, and other applicable areas
• Serves beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner
• Adheres to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies, including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
• Checks back to ensure guest satisfaction; replenishes items as necessary or as requested
• Suggests and serves dessert, coffee, and other items as applicable or necessary
• Handles all cash and credit card payments following standard operating procedures
• Keeps tables, dining room, and workstations sanitized and organized
• Listens and responds to customer complaints
• Performs cleanup and closing procedures as assigned by the manager
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Minimum Qualifications:

One to two years of food service experience

High school diploma or equivalent

A thorough understanding of fine and casual dining

Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law

Must be dependable

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must be able to work in a team environment
