Job summary

Basin Harbor invites friendly servers to join our team for the summer season in Vergennes, Vermont, offering both full- and part-time roles from mid-May through October 2026. As a Restaurant Server, you will serve meals, take drink orders, anticipate guests' needs, and maintain high etiquette and service standards in our lakeside dining venues.

We are now accepting applications for Restaurant Servers for our main dining room and outlets, here at Basin Harbor.

Our servers are responsible for serving meals and taking drink orders, anticipating guest's needs and special request by being tactful, approachable, perceptive and customer service oriented.

We are currently seeking both full- and part-time Restaurant Servers to join our team for our upcoming summer season from mid-May through October, 2026.

Requirements

Some essential competencies are: Understanding the need for proper etiquette and service standards, prior serving experience of 2+ years preferred, able to take direction and work in a team environment, attention to detail, efficient, and able to perform multiple tasks systematically in a fast paced environment, ability to remember and follow dining room procedures, a clean, well kept, professional appearance. As well, shift work may require up to 10-hour shifts - walking and standing. Must be able to lift 20 lbs repeatedly.
