Cantina Laredo in Texas is seeking a friendly Server to greet and serve guests with a courteous, timely, and positive attitude. You will follow cash handling procedures, keep your station neat, stocked, and ready to serve while upholding our hospitality standards.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in casual dining, a HS diploma or GED, and proficiency with POS systems. Physical duties include lifting up to 70 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Job Description

As a Server, you will be responsible for serving each guest courteously, quickly, and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant, and enthusiastic attitude. Additionally, you will follow cash handling procedures, keep your area neat, clean, stocked, and ready to serve guests while delivering quality service within company standards for hospitality.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
• Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
• Use ladders occasionally
• Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk-in coolers/freezers
• Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
