Job summary

GMBG1 OC, LLC is seeking a Server (Food Services) to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment. You will assist guests with menu selections, recommend beverages, and work closely with the team to ensure smooth service.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation standards, handling opening/closing duties, and ensuring accurate order entry on the POS system, while adhering to safety policies and promoting a welcoming dining experience.

Qualifications

• TABC and Food Handlers certifications are required.

Server (Food Services)

General Purpose of the Job:

The Server is responsible for taking care of guests by delivering exceptional customer service skills that include being friendly, team oriented, knowledgeable, and passionate. At all times, the Server is responsible for being attentive to guests needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, and important. The Server reports to the Assistant and General Manager(s).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Helps guests select food and beverage items by presenting the menu, offering cocktails, and making recommendations.
• Communicates with management team on any guest related situation.
• Answer questions about food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
• Perform opening, side work and closing duties, as required.
• Maintain clean service areas.
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Respond promptly to any requests.
• Assist other team members with running food, drinks, pre-busing, or any other guest related situation.
• Responsible for timely and precise order entry using POS system

Physical Demands:

• Must be impeccable in appearance and in the proper uniform every day without exception.
• Walks and stands during entire shift.

• Be Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping and tripping.
• Ability to climb up and down stairs repeatedly during the shift
