Job summary

Erenet in New York is seeking friendly servers to join our restaurant team. You will welcome guests, answer questions about the menu, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure a smooth dining experience.

You must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to stay upbeat in a fast-paced environment, with flexible shifts for lunch, dinner, and weekends. Prior service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Availability for lunch and dinner shifts, plus weekends, is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve food courses and non/alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Communicate with kitchen about menu questions, wait times, and special requests.
• Note dietary restrictions and allergies to kitchen staff.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction after each course and beverage.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and service stations throughout the day.
• Complete closing duties and restock items as needed.
• Present checks and process payments accurately.

Servers must work well in a team environment and maintain an upbeat personality even in a fast-paced environment. Individuals must be friendly, outgoing, organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Candidates must offer availability on a regular basis, including lunch and dinner shifts as well as weekends.

Responsibilities to include:

• Serve food courses and non/alcoholic beverages to guests
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
• Check-in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc. throughout the day
• Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
• Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment
