Carmine's and Virgil's Real BBQ in New York is seeking an experienced Server who is passionate about hospitality and guest service. If you have a sales-oriented personality and a bright, positive attitude, you could be a great fit for our team in a fast-paced, high-energy setting.

Ideal candidates will have strong food and beverage knowledge, English fluency, and the ability to work under pressure while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Server experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant.
• Professional, personable, organized with a sense of humor and a passion for hospitality.
• Sales-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Knowledge of fine wine & spirits.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitality with a friendly, engaging demeanor for every guest.
• Greet guests, take accurate orders, and use suggestive selling to enhance the dining experience.
• Act as Brand Ambassador by sharing information about Carmine’s and Virgil’s locations and catering opportunities.
• Deliver high levels of customer service while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food orders.
• Expedite and deliver food orders, and participate in food runner shifts if needed.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to service timelines.
• Complete side work and closing duties; work as part of a cohesive front-of-house and kitchen team.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Pay: $11/hr + tips ($600-1200 weekly potential)

• Expedite and deliver food orders quickly and correctly—Servers may also be scheduled for food runner shifts.
• Serve food and beverages promptly once the full order is ready, adhering to established service timelines.
• Complete all assigned side work and closing duties at the end of each shift.
• Work as part of a cohesive front-of-house and kitchen team to ensure every guest enjoys the best possible dining experience.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

• With Server experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant environment.
