Job summary

The Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville is seeking an outgoing server with at least two years of recent cocktail or floor serving experience in a high-volume environment. You’ll handle money, operate a POS, and provide warm, professional service to guests.

You must be comfortable standing for long periods, able to lift up to 25 pounds, and available on weekends and some holidays. The team offers benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life and more, with eligibility at 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of recent cocktail or floor server experience in a high-volume venue.

Responsibilities

• Serve all beverages in compliance with state regulations and standards.
• Follow procedures for bottle service and upsell where appropriate.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional hospitality.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages and maintain station cleanliness.

What you’ll do:

Outgoing, hospitable and always down to make friends. You have a minimum of two years of recent experience in as a cocktail or floor server in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub or lounge environment and are the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages. You are capable of handling money and operating a point-of-sale system. You have excellent English communication skills. You must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and are able to lift up to 25 pounds. You have availability to work weekends and some holidays.

• Serves all alcoholic beverages in accordance with all state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards
• Follows all company procedures when providing bottle service
• Anticipate needs of the guests and provides exceptional hospitality
• Present menus, answer questions, and makes suggestions for all beverage and food items
• Accurately enters all orders into the POS system.
• Ensures the delivery of all food and beverage to the guests
• Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and entire venue
