Job summary

Walk-On's is seeking a part-time, non-exempt Server to join our high-energy team. You’ll welcome guests, take orders, run food, handle takeout, and help maintain a clean, friendly dining room.

You must be at least 18, meet state alcohol-service requirements, read training materials in English, and be ready to work nights, weekends, and gameday events. We’ll train the right teammate and offer a vibrant gameday atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and meet all state requirements for alcohol service.
• Able to read training materials, complete testing, and follow instructions in English.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required—we’ll train the right teammate!
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, carry trays up to 25 lbs, and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong communication and a customer-focused attitude with the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Show up ready to play—arrive on time, in uniform, and with a positive, team-first attitude.
• Welcome guests with a smile, seat them efficiently, and ensure an exceptional dining experience.
• Take accurate orders, suggest menu items, and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Follow Walk-On’s steps of service to exceed guest expectations every shift.
• Run food, clear tables, maintain clean dining areas, and assist teammates wherever needed.
• Handle takeout orders and ensure To-Go guests receive their meals accurately and promptly.
• Follow all alcohol service laws and company policies—maintain any required state bar cards.
• Process payments, handle cash accurately, and operate the POS system.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the restaurant for business.
• Keep the restaurant clean—tables, floors, and guest areas—while staying friendly and upbeat.
• Jump in to support coworkers and management with any tasks needed to keep the team winning.
