Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux in Tallahassee, FL is hiring a part‑time Server to join our high‑energy game day team. You’ll greet guests, take orders, run food, handle takeout, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area while delivering championship‑level service.

We value teamwork, a positive attitude, and reliability. No experience? We’ll train the right teammate to grow within the Walk‑On’s family and advance as you gain skills on the floor and POS system.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and meet all state requirements for alcohol service.
• Able to read training materials, complete testing, and follow instructions in English.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required—we’ll train the right teammate!
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, carry trays up to 25 lbs, and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and a natural, friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask, balance multiple plates or orders, and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Show up ready to play—arrive on time, in uniform, and with a positive, team‑first attitude.
• Welcome guests with a smile, seat them efficiently, and ensure an exceptional dining experience.
• Take accurate orders, suggest menu items, and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Follow Walk-On’s steps of service to exceed guest expectations every shift.
• Run food, clear tables, maintain clean dining areas, and assist teammates wherever needed.
• Handle takeout orders and ensure To-Go guests receive their meals accurately and promptly.
• Follow all alcohol service laws and company policies—maintain any required state bar cards.
• Process payments, handle cash accurately, and operate the POS system.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the restaurant for business.
• Keep the restaurant clean—tables, floors, and guest areas—while staying friendly and upbeat.
• Jump in to support coworkers and management with any tasks needed to keep the team winning.
