Job summary

Flight Restaurant and Wine Bar - Memphis is seeking a server to provide attentive service, greet guests, and explain our concept and specials. The role includes taking orders, delivering to guests, and maintaining station cleanliness throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor.
• Servers must be clean cut and carry themselves in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of items
• Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greets guests in a professional, friendly and courteous manner and explain our concept and any specials
• Takes orders and inputs into the POS system to send order and any modifications to the kitchen
• Helps retrieves orders from kitchen, confirms accuracy, and delivers it to guests
• Ascertain above and beyons the guests satisfaction throughout entire dining experience with exceptional service and attention to detail
• Abide by all restaurant, state and federal regulations and liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred

• Valid Tennessee ABC Permit or enrolled in class to obtain permit
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Must have a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor
• Servers must be clean cut and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times when in the vicinity of the restaurant
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and carry plates and trays for prolonged periods of time
