Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience.
• Servers must be clean cut and carry themselves in a professional manner.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and carry plates and trays for prolonged periods of time.

• Service of food and/or beverage to include filling and refilling water glasses, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items and proptly resetting tables
• Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Helps keep server stations clean and organized and takes used glassware and dishes to dishwashing area.
• Retrieves orders from kitchen, confirms accuracy and delivers to the guests
• Helps ascertain guests satisfaction with exceptional service and attention to detail throughout the guests entire dining experience
• Abide by all restaurant, state and federal regulations and liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Tennessee ABC Permit or enrolled in class to obtain permit
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Must have a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor
• Servers must be clean cut and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times when in the vicinity of the restaurant
