Job summary

Babalu Tacos & Tapas in Memphis is seeking friendly servers to deliver unique dining experiences and make guests happy. You will guide guests through the menu, suggest pairings, and provide attentive service in a fast-paced setting.

Our team values a positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication. Prior restaurant or retail experience is a plus; familiarity with POS systems helps. This role offers growth opportunities and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to stand, walk, and carry food for long periods of time.
• English reading and communications skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and prioritize tasks to maintain high-quality guest service.
• Ability to obtain necessary food and liquor permits.

Essential Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• English reading and communications skills
• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to effectively implement the three C's: coordination, Consolidation, and communication
• Ability to obtain necessary food and liquor permits

Preferred Skills:

• Prior restaurant or retail experience
• Prior experience using Aloha POS systems
• Previous experience in a fast-paced high-volume environment
