Babalu Tacos & Tapas is seeking a Server Assistant to deliver exceptional service and support a busy dining room. You will run food, clear tables, and help prepare our signature Table-Side Guacamole, contributing to a lively, guest-centric atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must be hospitality focused and solution-oriented.
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to effectively implement the three Cs: coordination, consolidation, and communication.
• Food handler's card may be required according to local/state regulations.
• Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize duties.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and bend, climb or work in confined spaces.
• Ability to properly lift 25 lbs.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication with guests and coworkers.
• Possess organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to all guests.
• Guide guests through the food and beverage menus and make suggestions.
• Work positively and effectively alongside both front and back of house teams.
• Prepare Table Side Guacamole.
• Assist in running food.
• Assist in bussing tables.
