Job summary

Dave & Buster’s is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a high-energy environment. You will greet guests, suggest menu items, and showcase extensive beverage knowledge while ensuring timely service and accuracy.

You must maintain cleanliness, comply with alcohol regulations, and handle payments. Teamwork and a strong sense of urgency are essential for success in a fast-paced venue.

Qualifications

• Alcohol Certification required or as required by state laws.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with guests as an ambassador of FUN.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.

• Adhere to local and state alcohol laws and policies.
• Process payments and invite guests back to the FUN.
• Maintain a stocked, clean, and safe work area and complete side work.

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Servers serve up great food, drinks, and FUN for all Guests! As a Server, you are relentless in providing our Guests with exceptional and timely service. You know the menu inside and out and can make great suggestions. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with all guests. Be our ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy (Show your salesmanship!)
• Showcasing your extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies
• Process payment transactions and invite our Guests back to the FUN!
• Maintaining a stocked, clean, and safe work area, server section, all while completing the necessary side work
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required
• 18+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required
• Comply with the company uniform standards
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Must act with a swift sense of urgency
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)
