Job summary

Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Server in a high-energy environment in King of Prussia, PA. You will greet guests, confidently recommend items, and deliver food and drinks with precision while upholding safety standards.

As a server, you’ll showcase extensive beverage knowledge, handle payments, and encourage return visits. The role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required.
• 18+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required
• Ability to create a memorable guest experience with attention to detail
• Teamwork is essential and a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication with Management, Team Members, and Guests

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with all guests.
• Be our ambassador of FUN and recommend menu items with accuracy.
• Showcase beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Process payments and invite guests back to the FUN.
• Maintain a stocked, clean, and safe work area and perform side work.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

Job Description: At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Servers serve up great food, drinks, and FUN for all Guests! As a Server, you are relentless in providing our Guests with exceptional and timely service. You know the menu inside and out and can make great suggestions. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with all guests.
• Be our ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy (Show your salesmanship!)
• Showcasing your extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs.
• Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies.
• Process payment transactions and invite our Guests back to the FUN!
• Maintaining a stocked, clean, and safe work area, server section, all while completing the necessary side work.
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required 18+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required
• Comply with the company uniform standards.
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience.
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Must act with a swift sense of urgency.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs).
