Job summary

Dave & Buster's Inc. is seeking a Server to provide exceptional, timely service while promoting food and beverage knowledge and safety. You will engage guests, suggest menu items, and ensure accurate orders in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a team to deliver memorable guest experiences, process payments, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. The role requires availability on days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage is a plus but not required.
• Must be 18+ years of age and have Alcohol Certification as required.
• Follow uniform standards.
• Deliver a memorable guest experience.
• Teamwork is essential.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with management, teammates and guests.
• Act with a swift sense of urgency.
• Availability for days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests as the ambassador of FUN.
• Recommend menu items and ensure accurate orders (salesmanship).
• Showcase beer, wine and cocktail knowledge.
• Deliver food and drinks timely and anticipate guests' needs.
• Adhere to local alcohol laws and safety procedures.
• Process payments and invite guests back to the FUN.
• Maintain a clean, stocked and safe work area and server station.

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Servers serve up great food, drinks, and FUN for all Guests! As a Server, you are relentless in providing our Guests with exceptional and timely service. You know the menu inside and out and can make great suggestions. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with all guests. Be our ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy (Show your salesmanship!)
• Showcasing your extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies
• Process payment transactions and invite our Guests back to the FUN!
• Maintaining a stocked, clean, and safe work area, server section, all while completing the necessary side work
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required
• 18+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required
• Comply with the company uniform standards
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
