Job summary

Coma Coffee Roasters in Grapevine, TX is seeking a professional Fine Dining Server to provide exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for delivering attentive service, knowledge of the menu, and accurate wine and beverage recommendations in a fast-paced dining environment.

The role requires at least one year of server experience, preferably in fine dining, with familiarity of touch screen POS systems and basic wine, beer, and spirits knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a server.
• Fine dining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Suggest beverages and menu items.
• Maintain strong knowledge of current menu items and offerings.
• Attend daily pre-shift meetings for updates.
• Complete all assigned pre-shift duties promptly.
• Stock, polish silverware and glassware, set and reset tables, remove trash and recycling.
• Provide recommendations and answer questions about dishes and preparations.
• Monitor guests' dining experiences and satisfaction.
• Keep chefs and managers informed of issues affecting quality or timing.
• Wait on customers and ensure service excellence.

Fine Dining Server Responsibilities Include:

• Suggestively sell beverages and menu items
• Responsible for having a strong food knowledge base
• Very detailed understanding and memorization of the current menu items which include all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, food and specials
• Attends the daily pre-shift meeting to learn any important daily information any other scheduled staff meetings
• Complete all assigned pre-shift side duties in a timely manner
• Stocking, polishing silver, glass and dishware, setting, bussing and clearing tables, trash and recycling removal, expediting food, serving food and drinks, waiting tables
• Must have explicit knowledge of the menus and be able to make recommendations answer questions regarding dish preparations
• Monitor and observe guests' dining experiences
• Keeps the chefs and managers informed of any issues that might affect quality or timing of service
• Wait on customers

Fine Dining Server Requirements:

• Minimum of one year experience as a server,
