Job summary

Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a driven Server to provide attentive hospitality and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, golf-club-inspired setting. You will describe daily specials, take and deliver orders, and work with the team to maintain an organized, guest-focused service standard.

The role requires a minimum of 1+ year(s) experience in upscale casual or country club dining, Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness training, and readiness to work in a dynamic

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience as a server in upscale casual dining or country club setting preferred.
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness Training preferred.
• Knowledge of menu items and upselling opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them promptly.
• Describe specials and answer questions, offering menu item suggestions.
• Take orders and deliver food to guests in a timely manner.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and replenish items as needed.
• Handle checks and cash using POS system.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast - paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Essential Duties:

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties.
• Setting up and breaking down golf stations every shift.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Position requires to be cross trained in bartending service.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Valid driver license required (driver license will be required when operating the picker for range balls, golf cart)
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1+ years' experience as a server in upscale casual, fine dining or country club establishment preferred.

Certificates/Licenses:

• Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the position.
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of POS system.

Compensation:

Starting at $24/hour + Tips
