Job summary

The Lake Club Grande Clubhouse in Bradenton, FL is hiring a full-time Server to deliver outstanding guest service in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. You will greet guests, describe menu specials, take orders, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining an organized workstation.

Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, 1–3 months of Private Dining experience, and familiarity with a POS system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months relative experience in Private Dining Experience.
• Knowledge of POS system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide immediate attention upon seating.
• Describe daily specials and answer questions about menu items.
• Take and deliver food and beverages promptly; describe and upsell items.
• Handle checks and cash transactions using the Point of Sale system.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and support bartending as needed.
• Cross-train in bartending service and follow safety policies.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and Taste Tests.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and follow up to address needs.

The Lake Club Grande Clubhouse, located in Bradenton, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Schedule

• The position starts in late September.
• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties
• Setting up and breaking down golf stations every shift
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Position requires to be cross trained in bartending service
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Valid driver license required (driver license is will be required when operating the picker for range balls , golf cart)
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must have one to three months relative experience in Private Dining Experience

Certificates/Licenses

• Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform duties.
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of POS system.
