Corner House Restaurant in Summerville, SC is seeking a full-time Server to join a fast-paced hospitality-focused property operated by Troon.

As a server you will greet guests, describe daily specials, take and deliver orders, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain an organized workstation. The role includes cross-training in bartending and POS system proficiency.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; training provided for restaurant duties.
• Knowledge of POS systems and customer service in a hospitality setting.
• Relevant food safety and alcohol awareness training preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide immediate attention to guests upon seating.
• Describe specials, answer questions, and suggest menu items.
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver promptly after preparation.
• Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenish items as needed.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintain an organized workstation and complete side duties.
• Set up and break down golf stations each shift.
• Handle checks and cash transactions; use the POS system.
• Follow systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Adhere to standards for greeting, cocktail service, and general service.
• Practice tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Cross-train in bartending service.
• Follow safety practices and maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Corner House Restaurant, located in Summerville, SC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties
• Setting up and breaking down golf stations every shift
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Position requires to be cross trained in bartending service
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates/Licenses

• Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the position.
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of POS system
