Job summary

Eagle Landing Golf Club in Orange Park, FL is seeking a driven part-time Server to join Troon's hospitality team. You will greet guests, describe specials, take and deliver orders, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced golf club environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be fluent in English, and bring any prior hospitality experience. This role requires a valid driver license for range and cart duties, with opportunities to collaborate during pre-shift

• Experience in hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides immediate attention to guests upon seating.
• Describes daily specials and answers menu questions.
• Takes and delivers food and beverage orders promptly.
• Checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenishes items.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and completes side work.
• Sets up and breaks down golf stations each shift.
• Handles checks and cash; uses the POS system.
• Follows standardized procedures for taking and delivering orders.
• Adheres to service standards for greeting and beverage service.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Position requires cross-training in bartending.
• Operates safely and maintains attendance.
• Valid driver license is required when operating range equipment or golf cart.

Description

Eagle Landing Golf Club, located in Orange Park, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties
• Setting up and breaking down golf stations every shift
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Position requires to be cross trained in bartending service
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Valid driver license required (driver license will be required when operating the picker for range ball, golf cart)
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates/Licenses:

• Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of POS system
