Job summary

V Pizza is seeking hospitality-minded servers to greet guests, provide menu information, take orders on Toast POS, and keep the dining area clean and inviting.

You will handle payments, maintain station readiness, and collaborate with kitchen and FOH teams to ensure accurate orders and smooth service.

Qualifications include comfortable guest interaction, basic cash handling, customer service experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; must be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patrons and creating a welcoming environment.

• Taking orders from guests and inputting them on Toast POS.
• Processing payments and making correct change; handling credit/debit transactions.
• Stocking server stations and keeping dining area clean and presentable.
• Maintaining clean dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, and waste disposal.
• Assisting food runners and expo team during busy periods.
• Communicating with kitchen staff and FOH to ensure orders are accurate and up to standard.
• Reporting issues to management when orders, spills, or messes occur.

Our servers are responsible for the front line of a guest’s experience. Our service teams have a passion for all aspects of the guest interaction and a genuine desire to see every guest leave a V Pizza fan. We are looking for people that are outgoing, positive, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities and Duties

The main functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Greeting patrons and creating a welcoming environment
• Mastery of our food and bar menus to provide information to customers upon request, including knowledge and recognition of common dietary restrictions
• Taking orders from guests and accurately translating them on our Toast POS
• Making correct change according to POS and taking credit/debit payments with correct input
• Stocking server stations with silverware, dishes, napkins, takeaway boxes, straws, etc.
• Cleaning and refilling table caddies with parmesan, oregano, and red pepper flakes
• Assisting food runners and expo team members to run food at high volume hours
• Communicating with kitchen staff and other FOH team members to ensure orders are true and to standard
• Communicating with management to report any incorrect / incomplete orders, spills or messes in dining area, unsatisfied customers, and any issues that may arise
• Cleaning dirty dishes from tables, including wiping down tables, chairs, and highchairs
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Taking out trash to go to dumpster
• Setting up and breaking down your station to set up next shift for success

• While restaurant experience is not required, a basic knowledge of cash handling and customer service is preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
