Job summary

Tamayo, a vibrant Latin-inspired dining destination within the Richard Sandoval Hospitality Management family, is seeking a Server to join our guest-focused team. With over 20 years in Larimer Square, Tamayo offers elevated service and a welcoming atmosphere as part of the RS Hospitality Management family.

Responsibilities include delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining a clean dining area, and using POS systems to process orders.

Qualifications

• Requires good communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced dining room.
• Reading and writing proficiency is required for guest orders and notes.
• Must have basic math skills to handle cash and change.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures is preferred.
• State health and alcohol compliance cards (if applicable) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve a set number of tables and provide timely, personalized guest service.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of menu and beverage offerings.
• Sell alcohol and food items professionally.
• Use a computer for order processing.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and side-work.
• Check guest IDs and comply with alcohol service rules.

We are currently seeking a Server to join our dynamic team and contribute to our commitment to hospitality and extraordinary guest experiences. We at Tamayo have been offering elevated service, food, and drink for over 20 years in the heart of historic and iconic Larimer Square. We seek individuals who are dedicated to fostering excellent service to our valued guests and promoting a positive environment of teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Serve a set number of tables as determined by management.
• Possess complete knowledge of RSR Restaurant’s food and beverage preparation.
• Sell alcohol and food items professionally.
• Use a computer for order processing.
• Offer personalized and professional service to our guests in an efficient and timely manner.
• Maintain specific side-work and ensure the cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Clear and reset tables.
• Check guest identification for legal age and validity to consume alcoholic beverages.
• Observe guest behavior, adhere to responsible alcohol service as delineated in your training material.
• Ensure guest satisfaction, striving to exceed expectations.
• Report to work in a neat, pressed, and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and personal hygiene.
• Proficient knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine required.
• Proper service and presentation of wine is a must.
• Other duties as directed.
