Job summary

Rock'n Dough is hiring a server to welcome guests, guide recommendations, and deliver memorable experiences. You’ll read the room, pace courses, and manage refills while offering quick pairings from a diverse menu of pizzas, apps, pastas, and house beers.

Bring energy, curiosity about flavors, and a guest-first mindset. Training, growth paths, and a fun, high-energy hospitality environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Friendly, upbeat communication and guest-focused service.
• Willing to obtain or maintain food handler and alcohol-service certifications.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Own the guest experience with warm welcomes, confident recommendations, and memorable touches.
• Read the room to pace courses and timing, manage refills and plates during rushes.
• Know the menu—pizzas, apps, pastas, seasonal features, and house beers for quick pairings.
• Sell through service by suggesting pairings and tastings to guests.
• Keep it tight with pre-bus, reset, and order verification to close the loop on every request.
• Fix issues and the feeling using RHYTHM recovery steps to turn misses into wow moments.
• Play as a team by assisting with running food and expo handoffs.

What you'll do (aka your setlist)

• Own the guest experience: warm welcome, confident recs, memorable table touches.
• Read the room: pace courses, time refills, stage share plates, anticipate needs.
• Know the menu: pizzas, apps, pastas, seasonal features, and house beers (quick pairings = big wins).
• Sell through service: suggest pairings, samples in taster glasses, and "you've gotta try this" moments.
• Keep it tight: pre-bus, reset, verify orders, and close the loop on every request.
• Fix the issue & the feeling: use our RHYTHM recovery steps to turn misses into "wow."
• Play as a team: jump on running food, expo handoffs, and host assists during rush.
