Job description

Position Overview

John & Buster’s is a dynamic entertainment venue that serves a high volume of guests. As a Team Member you will provide fast, friendly service and create a warm, fun atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Takes accurate food and drink orders and maintains thorough knowledge of menu items.
• Enter orders into the Micros system quickly and in proper sequence, including appropriate modifications and charges.
• Use credit‑card machines correctly, calculate and return appropriate change, and account for all monies at the end of each shift.
• Assist with party set‑up and breakdown, bussing, and table resets.
• Ensure workstation is clean and stocked; set up and take down tables as needed.
• Follow company sanitation procedures and alcohol‑awareness policies.
• Maintain a positive guest experience by checking back after delivery, refilling drinks, and responding to guest needs in a timely manner.
• Assist other Team Members and communicate with supervisors promptly about problems or unusual matters.
• Participate in incentives and contests, driving sales and promoting the brand.
• Follow portion guidelines to control cost while maximizing guest satisfaction.

Physical Demands

• Work days, nights, and weekends as required.
• Operate in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with distracting conditions.
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds; stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Reach, bend, and stoop frequently; stand for long periods of time.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Effective communication skills with guests and team members.
• Ability to use Micros and perform accurate credit‑card transactions.

Compensation
