Job summary

The Lake Club Grande Clubhouse in Bradenton, FL, seeks a full-time Server to join its hospitality team. You will greet guests, describe daily specials, take orders, and deliver food promptly while maintaining an upbeat, service-driven environment.

Responsibilities include cash handling, POS operation, attending pre-shift meetings, and contributing to a smooth dining experience. Must be able to cross-train in bartending and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months experience in private dining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, describe daily specials and answer menu questions.
• Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar; ensure timely delivery of meals.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction; replenish items as needed.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings; maintain organized workstation and side work duties.
• Handle POS transactions and maintain cash accuracy; follow standard order procedures.
• Cross-train in bartending service and adhere to safety and service standards.

The Lake Club Grande Clubhouse, located in Bradenton, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Schedule:

• The position starts in late September.
• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties
• Setting up and breaking down golf stations every shift
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Position requires to be cross trained in bartending service
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Valid driver license required (driver license is will be required when operating the picker for range balls , golf cart)
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must have one to three months relative experience in Private Dining Experience

Certificates/Licenses:

• Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform duties.
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of POS system.
