Qualifications

• Ability to operate or learn to operate separators/clarifiers.
• Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure.
• Must be well organized.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Computer experience helpful.
• Ability to operate necessary equipment.
• Excellent safety/attendance record.
• Ability to stand and walk during the shift.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• Must work weekends and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Run the operations of the separators within specified guidelines to deliver a quality output.
• Maintain records and paperwork accurately.
• Take samples in a timely manner.
• Communicate with shift supervisor and lead person.
• Ensure whey quality meets specifications.
• Make changes to computers and separators as needed.
• Stay current with SOPs as equipment and processes change.
• Comply with safety and food safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
