Job summary

The Dairy-Farmers-of-America, Inc. seeks a Separator Process Operator to maximize production while ensuring product quality and safety. You will operate and monitor the separator, maintain processing parameters, and document results.

Responsibilities include performing CIP, cleaning, housekeeping, and complying with GMP and health and safety regulations. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the defined processing parameters to achieve optimum efficiencies while minimizing downtime.
• Monitor and document processes to include quality checks, while administering changes when needed.
• Perform CIP as needed on all related equipment. Perform manual cleaning as necessary.
• Perform general housekeeping and Master Sanitation schedule task as necessary.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
