Job summary

Empire Livestock LLC is seeking a production operator to operate the separator process efficiently while ensuring product quality and safety. The role focuses on maintaining parameters and minimizing downtime in a fast-paced environment.

You will monitor processes, document quality checks, perform cleaning and sanitation tasks, and help uphold GMP and DFA standards. Strong reliability, teamwork, and basic math are required; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or license may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain processing parameters to achieve optimum efficiencies and minimize downtime.
• Monitor and document processes including quality checks, and implement changes as needed.
• Perform CIP and manual cleaning on related equipment.
• Conduct general housekeeping and Master Sanitation schedule tasks.
• Report food safety/quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Follow GMP and company regulatory, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Operate the separator process in an efficient manner to maximize production while maintaining product quality and safety.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain the defined processing parameters to achieve optimum efficiencies while minimizing downtime
• Monitor and document processes to include quality checks, while administering changes when needed
• Perform CIP as needed on all related equipment. Perform manual cleaning as necessary
• Perform general housekeeping and Master Sanitation schedule task as necessary
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements
