Job summary

Kemps is seeking a skilled standardizer to maintain, break down, and set up equipment while resolving basic to moderate operating issues. The role includes standardizing products, operating HTST #2, and completing PASS sheets and CIP system tasks within a GMP environment.

We value teamwork across departments and meeting daily deadlines; this position offers steady hours Sunday–Thursday with a starting pay of $32.27/hr and ample growth opportunities within a dairy farm family setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
  • Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, break down and set up equipment and machinery; troubleshoot basic to moderate operating issues.
  • Standardize products through testing and procedures; perform all required tests.
  • Operate HTST #2, fill out necessary paperwork and complete PASS sheets; run CIP system.
  • Follow GMP; communicate effectively with all departments; meet daily deadlines.

Job description

Kemps has an immediate job opening for a well-versed standardizer to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. The standardizer will be responsible for performing all procedures, figuring, and testing required to standardize products. The standardizer will assist in making cultured products by operating HTST #2, filling out necessary paperwork, and completing PASS sheets as well as by operating the CIP system. The standardizer will follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), communicate effectively with all departments, and meet daily deadlines.

THIS POSITION PAYS:

$32.27/hr. starting

SCHEDULE: Sunday-Thursday, 1pm start time, 8 hour shifts
