Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, through its Kemps brand, is hiring a standardizer in Minnesota. The role covers maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment, troubleshooting, and performing tests to standardize products.

You will assist in making cultured products and operate HTST #2, CIP, and related paperwork, ensuring GMP adherence. The position requires basic math skills, the ability to pass pre-employment screenings, and the stamina to work in a fast-paced, potentially wet environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
  • Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment.
  • May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment and machinery to maintain, break down, and set up processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating issues while standardizing products.
  • Operate HTST #2, fill out necessary paperwork, and complete PASS sheets; and operate the CIP system.
  • Follow GMP and communicate effectively with all departments; meet daily deadlines.

Job description

Kemps has an immediate job opening for a well-versed standardizer to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. The standardizer will be responsible for performing all procedures, figuring, and testing required to standardize products. The standardizer will assist in making cultured products by operating HTST #2, filling out necessary paperwork, and completing PASS sheets as well as by operating the CIP system. The standardizer will follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), communicate effectively with all departments, and meet daily deadlines.

This Position Pays

$32.27/hr. starting

SCHEDULE

Sunday-Thursday, 1pm start time, 8 hour shifts
