Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America (Kemps) is seeking a standardizer to maintain, breakdown, and set up equipment, troubleshoot operations, and assist in producing cultured products. The role involves operating HTST #2, CIP, and completing PASS sheets while adhering to GMP and cross-department communication.

Flexibility for overtime and a fast-paced environment is required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Comfort working in a wet environment and with dairy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, breakdown, and set up equipment and machinery.

Kemps has an immediate job opening for a well-versed standardizer to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. The standardizer will be responsible for performing all procedures, figuring, and testing required to standardize products. The standardizer will assist in making cultured products by operating HTST #2, filling out necessary paperwork, and completing PASS sheets as well as by operating the CIP system. The standardizer will follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), communicate effectively with all departments, and meet daily deadlines.

THIS POSITION PAYS:

$32.27/hr. starting

SCHEDULE:

Sunday-Thursday, 1pm start time, 8 hour shifts
