Job summary

Kemps, part of Dairy Farmers of America, Inc., is hiring a standardizer in Minnesota to maintain and set up equipment, troubleshoot, and standardize products. You will operate HTST #2, complete PASS sheets, and help in producing cultured products while following GMP and collaborating across departments.

The role requires basic math, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, flexibility for overtime, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Job description

Kemps has an immediate job opening for a well-versed standardizer to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. The standardizer will be responsible for performing all procedures, figuring, and testing required to standardize products. The standardizer will assist in making cultured products by operating HTST #2, filling out necessary paperwork, and completing PASS sheets as well as by operating the CIP system. The standardizer will follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), communicate effectively with all departments, and meet daily deadlines.

THIS POSITION PAYS:

$32.27/hr. starting

SCHEDULE: Sunday-Thursday, 1pm start time, 8 hour shifts
