Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America (DFA)/Kemps Dairy is hiring warehouse operators in Iowa to perform picking, pulling, building orders, palletizing, loading, unloading and staging for outgoing delivery. Positions involve working in cooler or dock areas and operating equipment in a 35–40°F environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and in a 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit environment.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform picking, pulling, building orders, palletizing, loading, unloading, and staging for outgoing delivery.
• Safely operate material handling equipment within warehouse, cooler, freezer, or dock.
• Work at any assigned station or line as needed.

JOB SUMMARY

Our DFA/Kemps Dairy has immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated warehouse operators to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned. Additionally, warehouse operators are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and machinery within a warehouse, cooler, freezer or dock environment.

SCHEDULE:

Start time 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (or finish) Mon - Sat. - Sundays off with another rotating day off during the week.

• High school diploma or GED preferred
