Job summary

Kemps is seeking a skilled standardizer to operate, maintain, break down and set up dairy processing equipment, while troubleshooting and resolving issues. You will standardize products and assist in producing cultured goods, handling PASS sheets and GMP adherence across departments to meet daily deadlines.

Join us on a Sunday-Thursday shift with a 1pm start; pay is $32.27/hr with benefits including a union pension and 401(k), paid vacation and holidays, career growth and employee rewards, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and wet conditions.
• Flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, break down and set up equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating issues.
• Operate HTST #2 and CIP system and complete related paperwork.
• Fill out necessary paperwork and PASS sheets.
• Follow GMP guidelines and communicate with all departments to meet daily deadlines.

Job description

Kemps has an immediate job opening for a well-versed standardizer to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. The standardizer will be responsible for performing all procedures, figuring, and testing required to standardize products. The standardizer will assist in making cultured products by operating HTST #2, filling out necessary paperwork, and completing PASS sheets as well as by operating the CIP system. The standardizer will follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), communicate effectively with all departments, and meet daily deadlines.

THIS POSITION PAYS:

$32.27/hr. starting

SCHEDULE: Sunday-Thursday, 1pm start time, 8 hour shifts
