Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an SEO Strategist, Veterinary to own search strategy for veterinary clients. You will drive the technical roadmap, content priorities, and ranking narrative across multi-location practices, collaborating with writers and AI tools.

You will lead technical SEO, keyword strategy, and local search while reporting in GA4 and Search Console. A remote role serving clients in the US, Canada, and beyond, with an emphasis on veterinary sector experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in SEO with audits and fixes.
• Experience with agency multi-client management.
• Clear spoken English on live calls with US clients.
• SEO for multi-location veterinary or similar businesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO including crawl, indexation, and site speed.
• Define keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers.
• Improve visibility in AI search and traditional organic results.
• Manage local and multi-location SEO, including reports in GA4/Search Console.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Strategist, Veterinary you own search for a book of veterinary clients (veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on‑page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi‑location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands‑on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for veterinary or similar multi‑location businesses is a strong plus.
