The SEO / SEM Specialist drives qualified organic and paid search traffic by improving technical SEO, building search-led content strategies, and managing performance campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
The role connects search visibility to business outcomes, using GA4, Google Search Console, and conversion data to improve rankings, reduce acquisition costs, and increase pipeline or revenue from high-intent audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO strategies covering technical audits, on-page optimization, internal linking, structured data, and site architecture
- Manage paid search campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including keyword research, bidding, ad copy, budget pacing, and landing-page alignment
- Monitor rankings, crawl health, indexation, organic traffic, conversion rates, and paid-search efficiency using GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, and Looker Studio
- Build keyword maps and search briefs for content teams, prioritizing topics by intent, competitiveness, traffic potential, and business value
- Run A/B tests on ad creative, landing pages, calls to action, and audience targeting to improve CTR, conversion rate, and CAC
- Partner with content, product marketing, web, and engineering teams to resolve technical SEO issues and publish optimized pages on schedule
- Report search performance and recommendations to marketing leadership, translating channel data into clear actions and measurable growth plans
What We Are Looking For
- 1-3 years of hands-on SEO and SEM experience in a technology, agency, B2B, or B2C environment
- Working knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms such as Semrush or Ahrefs
- Experience with keyword research, technical SEO audits, metadata, canonicalization, redirects, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and link strategy
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret attribution, funnel, conversion, and campaign-performance data
- Experience managing paid-search budgets, search queries, negative keywords, bid strategies, and landing-page optimization
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: Experience with SQL, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, CMS platforms, international SEO, or experimentation programs
